How to Take Care of Your Gold and Silver Coins

One of the first questions that we are asked is "How do I clean my coins?" or "Do you sell cleaner?". The answer is always no. You shouldn't clean your coins and if you take care of them they shouldn't need cleaned. Please keep reading for some helpful tips.

Tips for the care of your coins:

• Keep your coins in the original tubes or packaging.
• Do Not place Gold and Silver together in the same package.
• Limit the air or direct sunlight exposure.
• You can place cotton, tissues, etc. between coins to keep them from rubbing if the tube is not full.

If you clean your coins, there is a chance that you are rubbing off the gold/silver and making the coin weigh less. There is also a risk of scratching.
